Does Zapier Pull Data Immediately?

When pulling leads from HubSpot or other CRMs, users often wonder if Zapier updates instantly or if there’s a delay. The answer depends on the type of trigger you’ve selected in Zapier.

Types of Triggers in Zapier

Zapier supports two main trigger types:

Trigger Type	Description	Timing
Instant Trigger	Fires as soon as the event occurs.	Immediately
Polling Trigger	Zapier checks for new data at set intervals.	Every 5–15 minutes*

* Interval depends on your Zapier subscription plan.

Example Scenarios

1. Instant Trigger (Push)

Use Case: HubSpot → New Contact in List.
Behavior: As soon as a new contact is added to the list, Zapier immediately triggers the action.
